Happy New Year! The economic crunch of 2009 took a painful toll on PRIMA and kept us from holding our annual fall conference, but there’s still life in us! Please make plans to renew your membership or join PRIMA for the first time because we’ve got some great webinars scheduled.
For only $20 for an individual membership or $50 for an institutional membership (up to three individuals), you can enjoy all the PRIMA webinars from the comfort of your office. In addition to the webinars, your membership will make you eligible to participate in PRIMA events throughout 2010.

There's been a change to the details on a presentation at the upcoming PRIMA fall conference.Here's the correct description of what is sure to be an interesting presentation by Lynne Kilgore and Mark Little of Central Piedmont Community College.
Stop Driving With the Rearview Mirror: Using Market Research Best Practices to Get in Front of Your Customers and Stay There
College marketing departments are increasingly under pressure to deliver customer-targeted communications that generate high volumes of inquiries and produce strong ROIs. In this session, Central Piedmont Community College will share its model for segmenting the College customer base, assessing customer needs and attitudes, incorporating the resulting data into compelling marketing tactics, and verifying the results.

Mark has worked for the past 14 years in various marketing capacities at Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, NC. He received an Innovation award in 1998 for his work developing an internet presence for CPCC’s Corporate and Continuing Education division. Mark has worked in eMarketing and account management since transferring to CPCC’s marketing department in 1998.
Update No. 2: the trip to Ingram Planetarium is no longer on our schedule. Still might be a nice place to visit while you’re there.
